Introducing Mechanism: Melodic Metal from the Pacific Northwest
Heavy. Dark. Intense. Three words that have been used to describe Mechanism and their music. Anyone who has witnessed one of their numerous live performances, whether it be playing one of their own gigs or as the direct support for a National touring act, can attest to the very raw and almost animalistic energy Mechanism brings to each show. This is a direct result of the intense rehearsal/show schedule and constant state of evolution of the band and the professional stance they take regarding their craft.
Heavy, yet radio-friendly songs span their 6 song EP and is taken to the next level on their brand new new full-length album Shadows and Dust (produced by Kelly Gray - Queensryche, Candelbox, Nevermore etc.).
It’s that level of professionalism that has won over so many fans from across the music spectrum and has allowed Mechanism to attain a rabid, large and loyal fan base throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Since their inception in 2007, Mechanism has been fortunate enough, through hard work and goodwill, to share the stage as direct support with world class national acts including: Sanctuary, Where Angels Suffer, Dokken, Lynch Mob, Brazilian metal gods Mindflow, Lizzy Borden, The Devin Townsend Project, Michael Schenker and Davey Suicide. Mechanism is also a very active part of the wonderful music community in the greater Seattle area and are proud to have shared the stage with nearly every one of the top local acts in a similar genre.
Some of Mechanism's accomplishments:
